I'm very much looking forward to judging at this year's Nationals. I've been involved in agility since 1993, when I started with my Standard Schnauzer Sasha. The sport has certainly evolved since then! I still
recall Sasha making it perfectly clear that she had NO intention of going through that 18" black corrugated drainage pipe (which was the "tunnel" at the time!). Sasha was a wonderful partner, friend and teacher. Despite my fumbling, she did manage to earn an ATChC and place first in the 16" Specials division in the 2002 Ontario Regionals. Sadly, Sasha is gone; however, I'm now working with a young Standard Schnauzer named Mischief and a baby Miniature Schnauzer named Rebel. Both are teaching me amazing lessons in timing and consistency. Since 1997 I have been judging and meeting a host of fabulous dogs and their handlers from all across the country. I'm looking forward to meeting new friends at the Nationals. Best of luck to all of you!
