 | | The mural has been installed in the new Kennedy Hope wing of the Franciscan Hospital for Children in the Allston area of Boston, Massachusetts. This mural is painted from the vantage point of the roof of the Hotel Buckminster in Kenmore Square. It is a 280 degree view from Boston University to Fenway Park. To the left across the Charles, can be seen Cambridge and MIT campus. Just below the CITGO sign can be seen a small image of Tobin Bridge. In the middle are the large buildings of downtown Boston including the Hancock Tower. Just below is Kenmore Square T Station being reconstructed. I moved Fenway Park over Mass. Pike to make a better composition. On the far right is an image of an historic black and white photo of Fenway Park. |
