Create a new document with the default size and frame rate.
We
have to create a 'Loading...' movie clip. There are 2 ways you can
create a new symbol, by pressing Ctrl + F8 or by clicking on the
'Insert' menu on top and then selecting 'New Symbol'. Now that the
window is open give the clip a name and select 'Movie Clip' radio
button (from the 'Behaviour' Group). And now click 'OK'.
A
blank canvas will appear with a cross in the middle. Select the writing
tool "" from the Tools menu. Now in the middle of the canvas write
down 'Loading'
Now
press F6 three times as this will duplicate the layer three times on to
different time lines. You should now have four key krames on the layer.
Click
on frame 2 and double click the text. Now add to the 'Loading' a single
dot e.g. 'Loading.' Add on a dot more on each frame. E.g. 'Loading.'
'Loading..' 'Loading-'
When you are done click 'Scene 1' found at the top of your screen
Now a blank canvas will appear again press F11 this will open a library window on your screen to the right. and select in the library 'Loading'
drag and drop the picture anywhere in your screen
You
can test your movie in 2 ways one is if you press enter whilst holding
down Ctrl on your key board or from the menu above you can click on
'Control'and 'Test Movie'
" from the Tools menu. Now in the middle of the canvas write
down 'Loading'
