YOUR PUP MEDICAL RECORD

 

We have a very strict preventative medical program at our kennel. The basic standard vaccinations and worming are listed below. Other preventative treatments with Albon (a sulfer intestinal medication for coccidia) are given also and listed on your pup medical record


Please take this medical record to your vet for every check up, that he will see what has been

given to your pup and put your pup on a schedule for his/her future needs. 

 

Your puppy will receive:

    -  1st vaccination at 4 weeks old for core vaccines:  Distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus (DHPP)

    -  2nd vacccination at 7 weeks old for core vaccines:  Distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus (DHPP)

    -  Wormings at 2, 4, 6, 8 weeks old (Ivomec)

    -  Metronidazole (Flagyl) will be given to your pup daily for 5 days for prevention of Giardia and bacterieal infections

    -  Albon (a sulfer intestinal medication for coccidia) will be given to your pup daily for 3 days

    -  Ear mite prevention at 4, 6 weeks old

    -  Micro chipped  

If you are receiving your puppy after 12 weeks old, puppy will receive 3rd vaccination and Rabies vaccination from our veterinarian


Please ask your veterinarian if the following non-core vaccinations are necessary:

      1.  Bordetella (canine cough complex)

      2.  Coronavirus (DHLPPC)

      3.  Leptospirosis


Non-vaccine considerations include flea/tick/heart worm preventatives.
