THE CHAMBERPOT GALLERY

is located in the bathrooms of the Chamber Of Commerce in Yellow Springs, Ohio. The gallery is the brainchild of two local artists, Nancy Mellon and Corrine Bayraktaroglu. It is run by Nancy and Corrine and sponsored by the Yellow Springs Arts Council .
The aim of the Yellow Spring's Art Council is to promote art and art-related activities in Yellow Springs. What better way to bring art to the public than in the very place the public goes to the most, the public restrooms? It is with this in mind that we hope to not only foster the view that Yellow Springs is a showcase for the arts in non-traditional settings as well as traditional settings, but also provide opportunities for artists to share their work with the public.
The Gallery is a semi-permanent exhibit. The paintings are for sale. There will be a book in the office that provides information about the artists painting, price, media, as well as include a bio, examples of their work, contact information, business cards, etc
