November 2007 White Spheres

November 3rd, 2007 

 Around 2 pm November 3rd, 2007,  I was outside on the east side of my house with my 4 yr old son. We were gathering dandelions for our three New Zealand baby rabbits. (strange story how we ended up with them) Occasionally, I would glance up at the sky and see strange contrails - some that would cross and make X's in the sky. We stopped for a bit and watched a beautiful Hawk circling above in the east.  We gathered enough dandelions, and after about 10 minutes, started heading back inside. I glanced up again at the contrails in the direct North that made an X and I spotted what looked like a small star or planet hovering there.  It was a small white sphere hovering well above the X contrail and was completely still. It was quite small and hard to spot in the bright blue sky. I waited for about 3 minutes watching this (it never moved) and I decided to get my son in the house and grab my camcorder and go back out to try and tape it.
I sat waiting and searching in the skies to the north but finally found it again around 2:20 pm to the NE direction. I could see it with the naked eye, and found it with the binoculars, but I could not find it in the viewfinder of the camcorder. Then I lost it. I kept searching and then looked DIRECTLY above me and spotted it again! In this position, it was VERY difficult to try and tape it with the camcorder on the tripod but I still tried. Then I lost it again. I waited for a bit longer and then saw it directly EAST of me. I still could not find it in the camcorder viewfinder but caught only a few frames of it as I zoomed in and out. It's not much but at least I know I was NOT seeing things.

I watched this white sphere off and on (when I could find it in the sky) from about 2:10 pm to 2:31 pm when I finally gave up taping.  I looked around for another 10 minutes but no longer could find it. I could NOT see it in the viewfinder, but when I zoomed in and out a couple times, I found that I did capture a few frames of it:

This object seems very much like what I tried to video tape back on May 30 2007.  I haven't a clue what these are, but they are very hard to see against the bright blue sky. They are very still and rarely move about and with this, they seem to go easily undetected.  They are so small and sit still against the bright sky that if you blinked you could lose sight of it or you might find it in a completely different spot in the sky.

November 8th, 2007

On Nov 8th 2007, the day before my dad's funeral, I see another object when I was NOT even thinking of UFOS! (just like the Aug 17th 2007 sighting!)

I saw and taped what I first thought was a star or planet but as it turns out it wasn't! I first noticed it when I looked out to see a huge plane fly over with a short dissipating contrail. The BRIGHT object was under the plane and contrail and I was thinking "Wow, how cool looking with that star / planet under that plane and contrail."

HAD I known it was NOT a celestial object in the sky at 4:47pm in the ESE area, I would have taped this longer!

I've been working with William at UFOSNW.com and he did a lot of analysis on this to be sure this was not a star, planet, or a weather balloon. He posted the report, small bit of the video and his comment on it here:

Oh! and Yea, I cuss AFTER I realized it had disappeared 6 minutes after I had stopped taping it! You hear me freak out when I realize that it WAS NOT a star or planet!

The cool thing about this sighting is I HAVE A WITNESS : My husband and our 4 yr old twin boys. 

NOTE: I remembered to change the camcorder's clock back an hour, but did not realize that it was a few MINUTES SLOW. I noticed it AFTER I had taped this object. It was close to 7 minutes slow. So like when I say it's 4:40 PM it is really 4:47 PM.

November 11th, 2007

On Nov. 11th, 2007 around 2:40 PM , I went into the living room and opened the curtains to get more light in the room. My one 4 yr old twin boy asked what I was doing and I joked and said "Oh looking for a UFO in those pretty white clouds"  Then I showed him a plane in the NE distance, and a crow... Then I looked to the East above the huge trees there and I saw a white sphere! It seemed to come from the West very very slowly and steady. Then it seemed to dive into a large cloud or maybe the large white cloud moved over the object....
At first I thought I was seeing things! Then the cloud moved to the north and in the break of the cloud I saw the white sphere again!

I then ran into my computer room, turned on the Camcorder and found it again as the clouds moved along to the NORTH and the white sphere was still hovering there in the same area. I started to record the object at 2:42 pm (14:42 - I've corrected my DV camcorder clock since the sighting on Nov 8th - so the TIME shown on the video is correct for this video)

I was only able to video tape it for 2.40 minutes - many clouds passed on by and I could no longer see it. Shortly after this sighting, I went to verify the weather online to get the wind speed - because as you see in the video, the clouds moved along rather quickly to the NORTH but the sphere did NOT move along with the clouds - I am positive this was NOT a balloon.

Then I wanted to be sure this was not the ISS or anything like that and checked Heavens Above web site.  The time, direction seen, and altitude / degrees shown for Nov 11th 2007 does NOT match what I saw. Here is a screen shot :

Besides, I don't think I would have been able to watch this thing for the 5 minutes I watched it if it had been a satellite etc

November 23rd, 2007

 Dang, I am SOOO bad at filming these things and under excitement, I seem to have no patience with the dinky winky viewfinder on my camcorder, but showing this small video anyway...

I saw another white sphere on Nov 23rd 2007 - seen to the NORTH from my EAST window view.
I saw it hovering and watched it move VERY STEADY and SLOWLY. It moved from the EAST going to the WEST direction. I watched it for about 10 seconds to be sure it was not a plane, balloon or bird.
I then turned on the Camcorder and started trying to tape it at 3:37 pm (15:37) and it was moving a bit out of my view so I decided to pause the camcorder, get on the coat and shoes and run out to the east side of my house. - took about 2 minutes.

I get outside, and it's very WINDY and cold as hell out there but sadly I could not see the object anywhere! I looked for about 10 minutes and went inside thinking I did not get anything on video.

 The object was going against the wind direction - but I can't be sure as I did not get the weather report looked up after this sighting. I didn't think I caught anything on tape so I did not bother to look up the weather report online at the time.  HOWEVER, the object I taped on Nov 23rd moved TOWARDS a thin large patch of cloud -  the movement of the cloud I saw there WAS MOVING to the EAST direction - the OBJECT was moving to the WEST from the EAST.

I am positive is it was NOT a bit of contrail. I watched it move steady and slow - heading to the WEST. But by the time I got outside, the large thin patch of cloud had moved more EAST and the object was gone (or hiding in that cloud?) .  I looked hard in that cloud to see if that object was in there, but nothing. It was just so windy and cold and it bothered my eyes when outside.

On November 24th I finally took the time to review the video and found I did capture a few frames of it in the few seconds I tried to tape this thing when I first saw it from inside the house. I did not think I caught any of it, but I did...

The sighting was only for about 20 to 30 seconds, and the video is not much to go on, but at least I know I wasn't just seeing things.. and I am POSITIVE it was NOT a plane, contrail, bird, or balloon.
