I usually will have the webcam pointed to a HUGE Douglas  fir tree that is over 100 ft high. It sits about 250 feet East of my house.  When you look at the live cam image, the right side of the screen is SOUTH, the left side is NORTH, the tree there is in the EAST. The cam and my house is west of that HUGE trees. It is the very same tree that is seen in the video from March 2006 found under "Is This Possible?!".  It was also in 1992 video, but it was too dark to tell that night in the video.

Sometimes I have my DV Camcorder set up to my PC with "motion activated" software. I will see a few strange things that go on when I am not monitoring the cam. Below are a few screen shot images taken from the AVI video done on Feb 25, 2007.  I had my camera set to night mode with high sensitivity settings in the motion activated software. I compiled the few images from the large  AVI video, slowed the frame rate down to 1FPS and converted it to flash so that I could post this on the web site:


This is probably just some sort of a plane. It looks sort of cool and thought to share this.


February 28, 2007, while on the DV Webcam and chatting with  a few good friends I've met on MyVideoChat, I took some nice snap shots of the evening. At times, the clouds cleared away to show us a bit of the moon.




October 2, 2006 - A strange object that changed directions, shape, and color. I saw this strange object hovering over our area for close to 8 minutes. I video taped it for about 6 minutes but due to the 25X optical zoom and without a tripod, it was very shakey. So I used Riva Encoder to extract some of the stable pics from the original avi video and converted it to FLV without Audio. I have no idea what this was but it seemed to hover and change directions for several minutes. When it did finally leave, it rose straight up and out of sight.



Pretty Glow Over Portland, Oregon
On Sunday, March 4th, 2007 around 7:51 am PST, I looked out my living room window and saw above Mt Scott a really huge pretty glow. I grabbed my DV camcorder and started video taping it around 7:53 am. I've lived here all my life and never saw anything like this before.
This was NOT the sun. The sun is behind the tree and to the left in this video. I also extracted about 30 images from this 5 minute video and compiled them to view online HERE in SWF format
**Yea- I realized AFTER I taped this that I needed to clean my DV Camcorder lens**

June 16, 2007 - Testing out the New Camcorder
I bought a new DV Camcorder June 8th 2007. Actually I bought this because of the May 30 2007 frustrating sighting I had. But the one I bought last year (a JVC GR-D290u with 25X optical) has a small black camera defect shown on the videos -so UFO's or not, I was due for a new camcorder anyway.
The JVC Model: GR-D770 with a 34X Optical Zoom or 800 digital zoom. (optical zoom is best of course) JVC Videos record in 520 Lines of Horizontal Resolution. The JVC Cams work great with my computer via DV and can work wonders as a web cam via the firewire or even the USB connection. I tested the 770 by taping various birds in my yard, a plane, a Helicopter and the Radio Towers (that part done without a tripod) seen on top of Mt Scott.


June 26, 2007 - Contrails Ruin Blue Summber Sky View
June 26th 2007, was such a beautiful day, but by noon, all this CRAP started showing up. By 1:30 pm I was just fed up with what was accumulating out there and did this quickie video.. Some of these look rather freaky. And one looked like it was dripping something!
What's the point in hoping for blue summer skies when all we see is this crap ruining our view?



WTH are they spraying? Oct. 31 2007, over SE Portland, Oregon
This was the FIRST time I saw "them" blatantly spraying over SE Portland Oregon! At 10:20 AM, Oct 31st, 2007 I had just come out of Walmart and looked up and saw a white plane making lots of contrails in CIRCLES and STRANGE loopy patterns overhead! It was so freaky! The white plane was about 15,000-20,000 feet high. IT WAS NOT not some sort of Air show over Portland Oregon. I did not have time to tape them at that time...
BUT!! Later when I get home (about a 10 minute drive north from Walmart) at 11:38 am (over an HOUR later) I see yet MORE STRANGE Circle and curved contrails! I ran out and taped them and I'll be d@mned, about 10 minutes later I catch one in the ACT of creating another curved / circle Contrail!!
They were either: Wasting gas, were lost, drawing Pumpkin circles in the sky, OR SPRAYING US!
Normally the contrails I've seen overhead often fly in a STRAIGHT PATH, BUT on this day, I have NO idea WTH they were doing!

A few others from Oregon that watched this video - one in NE Portland, another in Seaside Oregon wrote to me and said they saw this SAME THING on the same day AND they've never seen anything like this either.
