September is my favorite month!

Well of course it is! Chelsea and I celebrate our birthdays AND the temperatures drop...well, they are SUPPOSED to drop but it's still running in the low 90s. In fact, the weather person on our local station said that it's been 110 days since our highs were any near the 70s.

Chelsea will turn 16 this month and we've already made her appointment for her to take her driver's test.  Jessie leaves for England on September 26 (same day as Chelsea's driving test!) and she's getting ready -- shopping for rain gear, UK adapters, and other essentials for 3 months at Reading.

School volleyball season is running along and dragging us along with it. We're half way through the first grading period at school with parent-teacher conferences mid-month. Jessie has just a few more days working for Walmart and has been busy firming up her spring internship with the Danville Chamber of Commerce.

September really IS my favorite month :)
