This is a list of all the Raw Organic Superfoods I incorporate into my life.  Nature's nuts and seeds are a naturally rich source of phytosterols-and cardio-protective fiber, minerals and healthy fats.  I create a wide variety of milks, smoothies, meals and all the guilt free deserts my heart desires.  All seeds listed I blend into flour and add to my smoothies.

 

Avocado: Nutrients:Iron, copper, phosphorus, potassium, beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamins B3, B5, K and high in vitamin E. Benefits:Acid-alkaline content is balanced. Easily digested, good for the blood and prevent anaemia. 

 

Avocado pits: Highest in soluble fiber and concentrations of anti-cancer and anti-aging phytochemicals.

 

Bee Pollen:  All 22 elements of the human system.  All essential amino acids and is a complete protein. Vitamins A, Complex series C, D, E, K and Rutin. 28 Minerals, Enzymes and Co-Enzymes necessary for good health and digestion. No cholesterol.  I store in freezer for freshness.

 

Beet Root powder: Provides a wide range of nutrients, but its most significant phytochemical is betaine. This plant chemical helps the liver and kidneys recycle the amino acid methionine to maintain the bodyls stores of s-adenosyl-methionine, more commonly known as SAM-e.

 

Cacao beans:  World's longest-revered food ("time of the Aztecs').  The single most exciting true brain health and body health food.

 

Chia seeds:  Muscle and tissue builder and an energizer of endurance with extensive hydration properties.  Because of its physiochemical properties, supports effective treatment in immediate problems of digestion.  

 

Chlorella:  A single-celled, fresh water algae.  Contains high levels of chlorophyll, beta-carotene and RNA/DNA.  More than 20 vitamins and minerals including iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, phosphorous, pro-vitamin A, vitamins C, B1, B2, B2, B5, B6, B12, E and K, biotin, inositol, folic acid, plus vitamins C, E and K.

Coconut oil:

 

Flax seeds:  Very high in omega-3 essential fatty acids, lignans(acts as both phytoestrogens and antioxidants) and fiber (soluble and insoluble type).  For more than 4000 years known for its healthful benefits.  

 

Goji berries:  Filled with powerful antioxidants, rich in vitamin A help boost immune function, protect vision, and may help prevent cancer and other illnesses including heart disease.  I soak these in Energized water or blend into flour for usage in my smoothies.

 

Hemp seeds:  High in protein, EFAs, minerals and vitamins, a rare source of insoluble fibre. There is no better way to quell your hunger then a large handful of hemp seed. 

 

Manuka Honey: Only found in the New Zealand region actually has more healing properties than antibiotics and has been effective in treating antibiotic-resistant strains of bacteria. Natural antibacterial, antimicrobial, antiviral, antioxidant, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.  It taste go good one teaspoon by it's self is a great boost of energy.

 

Maca:  Known as Peruvian ginseng.  Most widely used as a sexual stimulant and for energy and endurance.  Said to be effective in correcting irregular menstruation, easing menopausal symptoms and fighting insomnia.

 

Quinoa (keen-wah):  A seed that is called a supergrain (gluten free).  An important food for at least 6,000 years.  Very high protein content 12-22%, high in lysine, and actually has a balanced set of all the essential amino acids needed by humans, making it a complete protein.  A good source of dietary fiber and phosphorus and is high in magnesium and iron. High in minerals and B vitamins, especially vitamin B6. 

 

Raspberry seeds:  Natural, Powerful Ellagic Acid Antioxidant.

 

Raw Organic Nuts:  Almonds, brazil, cashews, hazel, macadamia, pecans, pistachio, walnuts.

 

Sunflower seeds:  A prefect food.  Vitamin A, B, D, E, K, calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, selenium, omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, phytosterols.  Contains pectin, which helps in the removal of heavy metals.

 

Spirulina:  Blue-green algae.  A readily digestible vegetable protein consisting of all nine essential amino acids and high levels of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an essential polyunsaturated fatty acid.  Also contains vitamin A as beta carotene, vitamin B-12 and vitamin B complex.  Promotes increased energy levels and healthy nerve function, tissues and immune systems.  Contributes to cardiovascular and bone health. Contains minerals including calcium, iron, copper, iodine, phosphorus, iodine, magnesium, zinc, selenium, manganese, chromium and potassium.

 

The rich blue-green color beneficial properties are Chlorophyll (green) which helps cleanse the body of toxins, phycocyanin (blue) supports protein absorption and healthy immune function and beta carotene (orange) encourages antioxidant activity.
