It has been an exciting few weeks here in Sofia! Everyday brings something NEW...
We started our first day of school (www.aea-bg.com) this week with children full of life and energy as they walked through the doors.
Our staff and students were extremely excited to see their old friends and connect with new ones. We have 150 children enrolled at this moment and we look forward to another 20-30 students within the next few weeks. We have many new children from around the world. We have 15 new families from Israel along with numerous children from the embassies and International Businesses in Sofia. It's been an incredible time of growth for our school.
However, we are in a a serious need of a new location! We are experiencing a great deal of opposition with the new owner of our current facility. He hates Americans and is doing his best to let us know the extent of his hatred. He is honestly one of the darkest and hateful men that I have ever seen.
Yesterday he brought in heavy equipment to dig up our play grounds so that the children could not play outside. He understands how vital it is for our children to have fresh air... I attached a few photos just to give you an idea of what we are up against!
Hundreds of parents are depending on us to ensure the safety of their children and we are standing in faith and believing that PROVISION is on the way!
