Why use Giclee Printing?

Giclee printing is an exciting new technology, already well established in the USA, that not only offers an artist prints of a stunning quality (at times indeterminable to the original) but also enables prints to be produced in a different size to the original, thus offering a wider choice to the artist and consumer alike.  When combined with the finest Hahnemuhle papers (utilised for their archival qualities) and pigmented inksets (for their lightfast qualities) the result is a professional reproduction, to the very highest standard, limited edition print of the original painting.

Why Limited Edition Prints?

By restricting the number of reproductions each individual print should retain its value with the prospect of appreciating with time.  All of my limited edition prints have an edition size of 100 (unless otherwise stated) and each one is hand-signed and numbered by myself.  The number recorded on each print is extremely important;  e.g.  30/100   The first number is the number of the Giclee print itself, the second number being the total number of prints produced for sale in that format from the original painting.

Note:  The lower the second number is the more valuable and collectable the limited editions are, hence 100 instead of 250 or 500 etc.
