Welcome to the Website of Kington Choral Society 

Kington Choral Society  is based in the small market town of Kington, Herefordshire, on the Welsh Borders.

The chorus re-formed, in 1996, after a gap of some years, as Kington and District Choral Society, under the directorship of Charles Allsopp. The present Music Director, Maureen Twiddy, took over in February 1999.  The chorus expanded, drawing in singers from further afield, so the name was changed to Kington Choral Society. Following the adoption of a constitution in 2000, charitable status was obtained in 2004.

KCS is an 'open access' choir, with emphasis given to singing the major choral works. You will find examples of these in the 'past concerts' section of the website.
