This is a pic of the first wall, out of three, in progress. This is on the wall of a pump house for the new kiddie pool that was opened in mid-August 2004, hence the whimsical nature of the pirate ship 

Here's the finished mural of the pirate ship. It measures 8 X 13 feet, and all three murals were painted with standard acrylic exterior house paint. 

The second mural in progress. The new kiddie pool is designed like a beach, with a tan and brown rubber matting (visible in the foreground) that slopes down into the blue of the pool bottom; so I decided to paint a beach scene, with my own little twist for the kids. 

Here's the finished second mural. The sign is a tribute to the MUD/Parks Board President, David Harper, who passed away from a stroke just prior to the opening of the kiddie pool. The second mural is 8 X 17 feet. 

A wide view of Mural #3, in progress. This mural is difficult to photograph, because of a fence that is @ 8 feet away, so the only way to get a shot that shows most of it is from the diving board and through the fence. As you can see, this one is much more realistic 

Wide view of finished Mural #3. The 3rd mural is the largest, at 8 X 27 feet. Note the barracuda in the left center, added to the mural because the juvenile swim team that is sponsored by the pool is called "The Barracudas"
