We had a wonderful party with the Weim and Friends at the 2006 NYS Weimaraner Rescue Weim Fest Picnic!
Zest thinking about eating lunch too!
We had a lot of fun meeting other Weims and their owners and also the non-weims who also came to visit!
(On the right, Zest is checking out the 2 Goldens, Shelly and Shelby and also a pretty Irish setter!)
Two more Weimies are checking out the pool (and the toys floating in it!) below.
"Should we take a swim?"
"Nah - it'll float closer to the edge - just be patient!"

Heinrich is also checking out the pool...
"Boy I want that toy!"
Heinrich is one of the Weimaraners that has been adopted and found his forever home through New York State Weimaraner Rescue in the last year! He is a very fortunate boy whose mommy, Tara, researched Weims and decided that Heinie was a perfect match!
Heinrich even won the "Musical Sit" game that we played at the picnic because he has done such a wonderful job with his training! He is a very active and smart boy - and you can read a letter he wrote us after his adoption on our Sucess Stories page.
He had fun returning to the house he stayed at while waiting for his new mommy to pick him up!
(This photo is Heinrich and his mommy Tara! Isn't he a handsome boy!)
He surely is a typical weim with his high energy, high prey drive, and super smarts! He is also a lovey-boy who likes to counter-surf... in fact after playing bobbing for hotdogs with the other dogs he "bobbed" for them off of the food table! Such a typical Weimie!
Here we are... bobbong for hotdogs! Every dog's favorite game!
