This our group for self-representing Artists on Facebook -
you don't need to have attended Addingham to become involved
You don't need to converse but you just might want to join our
group and say Hello., discuss work, Events, websites and generally
network.
Tip - Install the photos application and use the simple upload feature
its dead easy.
I will be opening more social networking groups on the internet, as many as I can find and will place the links and details here. it is imperative that self-representing Artists of every level and skill who want to share thier work with as many people as possible, get the chance to put it before the public. the ideal way is to physically exhibit and thats what the original art exhibitions is all about. however, I appreciate that it is fixed in one location and not available to many Artists due to sheer cost of travelling and expences and logistics.
So the next best thing I can think of and the cheapest i.e. costs nothing, is to post your work onto the internet and Social Networking Sites are just the thing for it.
You may have to join these, I accept that but you can interact at a minimum level or get fully involved, you can hide your profile or run a daily blog, its up to you be active, passive - proactive or reactive.....then you can post your pics or comment upon others.
In whichever way - your Art - gets to be seen.
If you have a personal or dedicted art website and you want to link to this one, then you can do, all I ask is that you reciprocate with a link on your site. Check out the links page, there are sites there you can surf for ideas and possibly join one or two. If you join affordablebritishart and quote ref: TBADD you will receive a significant discount - cos you know me, its that simple. Lets Network. If you have something you think is worth sharing with us all then please do - either via this site in an e-mail or directly onto facebook, etc.
Artists working for Artists - I like the sound of that.
best wishes in all your endeavours.

Due to concerns regarding vacant premises whilst the Occupier is exhibiting at Addingham, we shall
no longer list who is attending. Should you wish to see a particular artist, please e-mail me here and
I will forward your enquiry to them.......................
