Mary Panacci, also known as
"Mariella" in the Italian Community, has been performing for over twenty years.
Her live work consists of everything from weddings and other private parties, to singing jazz and R&B in hotels, to performing in shows at Canada's Wonderland and Ontario Place. Mary has also sung backup for various artists with the Toronto Symphony at Roy Thompson Hall.
Her studio work ranges from singing jingles to performing for demo tapes and singing back-up for CD's. She has worked with a numerous amount of wonderful producers such as Daniel Lanois.
"Mariella" has recently released an Italian cassette entitled
"A Yarda Mia" featuring some beautiful traditional folk and popular songs, as well as a few of her own compositions. The song
"A Yarda Mia" won
"Best Original" in the CHIN Italian Song Festival. In keeping with the Italian traditions, a new composition was released in 2004 entitled
"A Supressata Calabrese". Both songs are favorites on CHIN radio .

"Let's Celebrate" was chosen as
"Mississauga's Millennium Song". Mary performed the song on stage with Mayor Hazel McCallion on New Year's Eve 2000 at the Mississauga Civic center with thousands cheering on!
Performing Opera, Broadway and Pop songs with some of Toronto's finest tenors has been Mary's latest project. The concerts have been received with exceptional reviews. With much encouragement from her audiences, she has also released a compilation CD entitled:
"Concert Selections: Broadway,Opera, Pop and Jazz". this CD also features some wonderful duets with tenors Peter Marino, Adrea Garofolo and Mitch Seekins!
