Oh Happy Day!
by RamDar Sovereign Endeavors

It may be dreary outside today, but it is still a good day for me today! This morning I found out that I can upload my digital camera to my computer without the software! This is a major achievement since all this time I have believed that my camera and Ubuntu desktop simpy did not speak the same language and so were not compatible! Turns out Ubuntu will only speak with my digital camera directly, not through it's manufacturer's software program! HA! SOrt of like me, I rather deal with individuals directly, not through a middle party!
Ok, so what this means is that I will be able to add lots of photos to this website! I had 70 photos on my memory card already, and I will be taking pictures of our progress on the farmstead in NC in the garden, rabbitry and more! I am so excited I can hardly contain myself! lol
This week we also got the garden spot disked an rototilled, so it is all ready for planting now. Check out the
RDSE: Garden Blog to follow along with my progress.
We had an unexpected "engagement" between our NZ buck, Benny and our NZ/Chin doe, Amber. Check out the
RDSE: Rabbitry Blog to follow along with our rabbit raising adventures.
In the last few weeks we have also had 5 goat kids born! I haven't set up a page for goats yet, but I wil, so check back in for that if your interested in goats.
We also moved the 23 new layers into the main chicken coop with the existing flock of 22. We had two roosters in with the existing flock, the younger of the two has taken the new chicks as his own so all has gone very well with the chick integration. Again, I don't have a page set up yet just for chickens, but I plan to create one soon, so check back in if your interested in raising chickens.
Thanks again for stopping by and checking out our website and readingmy blogs. Don't forget to register in the forums so you can leave your commentary and interact with us & other visitors to the site.

February Updates and Announcements
by RamDar Sovereign Endeavors

New blog posts @: RDSE: Garden, The Black Walnut and Life with Leo. Check them out!
I will be adding a new post to the
RDSE: Rabbitry soon as well so watch for that.
I am also working on adding some new content to the website forums, so I hope that will invite,  encourage, motivate and inspire visitors to interact with us while they are here.

I am looking at the possibility of adding a guestbook.

February has been a cold, snowy, rainy month so far, but there have been some nice days when I have been able to get outside.
On the 27th we will be attending our farmsteads Pagan Blessing of the Plough celebration in preparation for the coming planting season.

We hope you have had an enjoyable and peacefully prosperous February.

Project: Badger
by RamDar Independent Sovereign Endeavors

In my first installment of an ongoing series I call "Projects" I have chosen "Badgers" as my theme, in dedication to M'Lady Badger, a dear, fun &  feisty virtual friend of mine with whom I have shared many a chat session of laughter and tears. This project is in preparation for our real world meet & greet, something I am most gleefully looking forward to! So on with it already! lol

For my first contribution to Project: Badger, I offer, The Badger Cafe and Pub. I haven't actually had the pleasure of experiencing The Badger Cafe & Pub, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to include it as my first offering to this project. I hope I get an opportunity to experience The Badger Cafe & Pub before I leave Maine.
My search for "Badgers" will continue and I will offer my finding here so check back often.
If you have a comment on this blog post, please log into the forum to the right and share, thanks
