We knew when we decided to embark on this nomadic existence to cultivate, maintain and grow our individual independence and personal sovereignty that there would be good and bad to contend with, both in people and in happenings. We are after all, realists, even through our idealism.
The challenges we have encountered have come with various degrees of difficulty, but none we have not been able to over come, albeit with a little help from our friends, old and new, virtual and real world, along the way.
By far we have encountered far more good than bad and I have maintained a hand written journal when I did not have access to my primary computer after it crashed back in August, or when I could not access the internet. I am in the process of transferring that handwritten journal to the typewritten RDSE blog. I hope you will be patient as I add chapters when ever I can. This post is just to let you know I am working on it and to give you a little taste of what is to come.
We left our resident state of Vermont on July 5th after a less than positive visit with Ram's sister and brother in law (the Bad: stay tuned in, more details to come). We headed for Washington, Maine, where we planned to finally meet a virtual friend of over a year in person and hang out there for a bit before taking off to work on a small organic farm in Auburn (more Bad: stay tuned in, details to come). When that situation didn't quite go as expected we moved down the road to Home Grown, a small organic farm that was seeking to exchange produce and eggs, etc...for assistance with their gardens and green house (Very Good: stay tuned in, more details to come). We hung out there for 2 months and then Oct. 1st as the autumn was fading to winter, we headed south to stay ahead of the colder temps.....we were headed for Nathalie, Virginia! (Very Bad: stay tuned in, more details to come). After spending a month in Nathalie, Virginia, we are now in Knightdale, NC, at Loxley Abbey, where we plan to stay through the end of the year (Very Good: stay tuned more details to come).
In the meantime, please check out the rest of our website, post your comments in our forums, and please, please, please check out our RamDar SE Exchange Opportunities page, where you can show your support for RamDar Sovereign Endeavors, get access to some great ideas for holiday and every day gift giving and most importantly, participate in exchanges with us that will assist us in providing for our continued nomadic existence reality and documenting our experiences here on our website.
