Expressions (of the Christian Faith)

Christian witness is an expression of our faith:

Mark 16:15 KJV

(15)  And he said unto them,  Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Matthew 28:19 KJV

(19)   Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Romans 10:14-18 KJV

(14)  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

(15)  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

(16)  But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

(17)  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

(18)  But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

As believers again it is essential that we express our faith through witness. Though there may have been times when we’ve been afraid, or times we’ve been ashamed we must put these behind us and go into the world expressing our faith in Jesus with boldness. Not knowing the day of Christ, but knowing it is soon, our lamps must be trimmed and burning, our oil must remain full, and our eyes open for the day in which Jesus returns. But having many friends, family, and co-workers, which are lost, remembering the billions who live in foreign lands, our message must go unwavering in truth and unstopped till all have heard of our faith in Jesus.

Our message isn’t complicated and hard to understand, but the message we have is our love for people and our love for Jesus, and the free gift of God’s salvation through Jesus Christ.

Be a Christian witness today, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you, be willing to follow, who knows you may just win a soul.
