Rachel westfall was born in Rockville, Maryland but raised from a very young age in Colorado. During her childhood her life long passion for animals and art begun to blossom. From the start she grew up around many cats and learned from a young age what wonderful family member’s pets can be. As soon as she could hold a pencil she began to draw, pouring out her imagination out onto paper. A trait her parents encouraged throughout her childhood.
Through high school Rachel continued to draw and paint, mostly on the side and for her own pleasure. Though after graduation she went off t first a Technical College and then to a Veterinary Technician school where she graduated after much hard work and dedication. A year later she decided to rekindle her passion for her art and went to take a few art classes at Pikes Peak Community College. It was such a success and relief to get back into her art that she continues the art classes. Today she has continued her passion for artwork and now takes many art classes and is looking to continue her art education at a larger University.
For her art is a great passion, a way to pour out a little bit of her soul and heart in the creation of something she loves. She continues to struggle and strive to be the best artist she can be.
