We are Celebrating Our 25th Silver Anniversary this Year!
The Village Artisans Gallery, located at 100 Corry Street in Yellow Springs, Ohio
is celebrating its' 25th year as a co-operative business for 2007! To kick
off the celebration, our gallery is currently exhibiting a "Silver Show", in
which all works of art display the color silver in some creative way. All
pieces are handmade, such as Kate Burch's sliver threaded pillow, Cynthia
McDonald's concho gourd, Leah Grommon's exciting acrylic abstracts, Sue
Brezine's shimmering watercolors, and Scott Kissel's silver geletin
photographs of Dayton, OH.
Village Artisans is hosting a 25th Anniversary
reception at the gallery on Friday, January 26, 2007 from 6pm-9pm. This is also
the opening for the first clue in our "Treasures of Da Vinci" local treasure
hunt. Each month, the Village Artisans will hide an artistic Da Vinci
related object in another store of Yellow Springs. Customers may get a clue
from the Village Artisans, find the object while shopping other stores of
Yellow Springs, then write down and return the answer to the Village Artisans Gallery to
enter the drawing. One winner is drawn each month and receives an original
piece of art from the Village Artisans. Come join the fun - Shop Yellow
