As long as I can remember I have loved animals, especially horses,  I have always drawn or painted pictures of them.

My art education is limited and I am mostly self taught.  Both my parents where involved in art, photography and horses, so possibly this has been passed on to me.  As a child I took art classes at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco, as an adult  I was the assistant to an art director at Shaklee Products designing labels and brochures.   I also freelanced in modeling, (when I worked for Fiberboard Paper Products, I posed for the modern version of the SunMaid Raisin girl... My story 

When I was involved in Arabian horse breeding  and local equine clubs, I helped design newsletters, logos and art donations for auctions, as well as being a board member in equine clubs and art guilds. At this time I belong to the Canadian based EAG... I am one of the cofounders of the Wisconsin Equine Art Guild( WEAG) also a cofounder of Equine Arts Protection League (EAPL), and for nine years I have coordinated the MHF art show. My artwork has been accepted into the Draft Horse Classic, Harness Track of America (HTA) auctions and the prestigious American Academy of Equine Art(AAEA).

Having survived cancer, I found my center to be God and Thank Him for the gift of my ability to express my love for animals and especially horses in a medium of choice. I will always be looking for that  'special way '  to express my art medium, and  of course to improve in  whatever  I do.

My loving husband and two beautiful daughters have encouraged me to pursue my dream of reaching out to people and affecting their lives with either my art or  spirituality.

 Priorities  in my  life. . . God  first, then my family,  all else follows with Love and living a Christian  life. . . . . . . Delia<><
