In addition to buying food or equipment from us, we urge you to have a psychometric experience with the item you are buying, meaning, to know information about what you are buying. For example, most people just call and ask us to sell them some goji berries. They don't care where they were grown, if they have a high or low brix, if they are dry or moist, etc. They just want goji berries. Many people get ripped off when they really don't know what they are buying. If you don't know even the right questions to ask, just ask us and we will go over the details of what you are buying.
Calling us toll free will put you in touch with a personal rawfood coach who will walk you through the every step of the process of buying or helping you pick out what you need, from the first phone call to guidance after you have received your product. Our staff has hands on experience with the products we offer. We are very pationate about helping you with the vision you have.

LOCAL BULK FOOD CO-OP BUYING
We will help you form a local 5 to 10 person co-op in order to buy food cheaply in bulk so everyone gets fed. We have special co-op deals with our suppliers that when we buy $500 or more worth of bulk foods (email us for our current price list) they give us their lowest prices that they can possibly give. The co-op member in charge will organize the other co-op members purchases and he or she will email us over a large order and we will send it to several of our distributors to bid on it. We will go with the one with the best price.
Our co-op members can email us if they want to join forces with other local Blindguru co-op members in order to put in large, bulk orders together. It is a great way to meet other like minded members in your community. It is a very casual buying experience and we help organize it.
Cooperatives are an important aspect of our vision. Co-ops allow for more efficient utilization of resources, whether that be food, equipment, cars or whatever. Sharing resources also allows for greater social interaction, bringing people together who have common interests and/or needs. As Blindguru's co-op grows, the co-ops we help you build will certainly be developed.
Many co-ops we have formed have choosen to eat together. Food co-ops and eating groups are a great way to demonstrate sustainable living and have some great dinner company!
A typical small food co-op of about 5 members can save you lots of money and valuable time in food prep.
It is much advantageous to order from an organic food distributor who sells to stores than to buy from stores. But, most distributors won't sell to end users since they only sell in large bulk to stores. To cut the costs, it is best to get 3 to 6 families together and each puts in their order once a month or every other month. We offer a large variety of foods that we can sell at a reduced price if you want to form a large order with your family, friends, or whoever you find.
Our goal is to eliminate transportation costs as much as we can and drive the price of food down to the end user. When approximately 100 or more pounds of food are shippped, it cuts the shipping price by about half. On top of that, the more you buy the more we can buy and the cheaper you get the food. The price we offer is already cheap since we have a lot of families doing this but each order we get does make a small difference in price. If ordering more than 1,000 lbs the shipping price is almost insignificant when the price of food is so cheap. On top of the cheaper shipping and volume pricing we get, we always try to ship from a supplier that is closest to your area. This is just another service we offer to co-op members. Our resource guide will tell you the resources nearest you and they are willing to work with you to help you form your own food co-op in your area. Our resource guide has the suppliers that we have found over the years that have the best service and the best products at the best prices. Once you have the resources and have formed you own buying co-op with your friends and family, you will be able to buy cheap with your new raw food connections.
When I need local produce, I have a small group of friends that take turns going to the farmer's market. This saves everybody time and gas when everyone takes turns going to the market. The merchants at the farmer's market always gives us a big discount since we buy for 5 to 10 families each week. I hope everyone gets the opportunity to form their own co-op. If you need help with organization of your co-op we can offer a tele-conference and we can discuss on the phone how to set one up in your area. You must be organized in order to do this and be able to handle everyone's money and set it up so the co-op runs efficently.

| Co-Op Pricing: We are sick and tired of playing the price matching game where customers call every store to see who can sell the cheapest. We have decided to sell at our actual co-op cost for our co-op members. We came up with a strategy to maintain our profits by charging a low co-op fee so our customers can get our co-op cost and have access to all of the classes we teach on our Tele-Conference page. As we offer our co-op cost we cannot go cheaper nor will we match prices. We can email our catelog which has our standard wholesale prices that we get as a dealer by request. No store can beat these prices since our prices are the price stores are usually paying. We cannot advertise these prices on our website due to MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing) policies. See our Newsletter page for info on how to get our co-op prices by email which is allowed by the manufacturer. We do not play games or have any hidden fees. We do not care how much you order. Your volume actually helps us maintain our discounts. Our profits come from our low priced no contract memberships. We do not allow our products to be sold on EBAY and your membership will be revoked if you are selling our products on EBAY. By buying from us, must agree not to advertise under MAP pricing if you were to sell our equipment we offer. |
Our Newsletter has our monthly specials. See our newsletter page if you want to know our special offers of the month.
