MEDITATION MINUTE

Everybody needs time during each day to stop, take a breath, and sit still for a moment.

Take a break from all of your lists, tasks, problems, and worries even if just for a minute or two.

Scroll to the photograph below that you find most soothing. If you would like to listen to meditative music, click on one of the music buttons below.

(Make sure to minimize the media player screen that pops up so you can see your photo).

 

Breathe in--hold it--...1...2...3...4...5, breathe out...repeat this breathing while you meditate. Make sure your breathing in as much air as possible

(you can tell because your stomach will rise with each breath).

 

Believe it or not, with practice, you can learn to take mini-meditation breaks that leave you feeling more calm and centered.
