I have begun to spread my wings a bit and have begun doing portraits.  I have quickly found that, while they are a challenge, they are very enjoyable to do.  There is something about taking a photograph and bringing life to it.  I'm not nearly as interested in reproducing a photograph, as I am in capturing the personality and spirit of the subject.
