Summer Camp 2010

Yes, I know that there is a foot of snow on the ground, but we need to begin planning for summer camp at Seven Ranges.  The dates for summer camp this year are Sunday July 4 through Saturday July 10, 2010.  This year, the cost for summer camp will be $230 for boys and $85 for adults, (if early deposits are paid on time).  That is a $20 discount for paying early!  Scout accounts can be used to pay for this (if they have enough).   We will also be taking t-shirt orders at an additional cost of around $12.
 
For the boys, a $100 deposit must be paid by March 8, with the remaining $130 paid by April 8, 2010.
For the adults, a $60 deposit must be paid by March 8, with the remaining $25 paid by April 8, 2010.
 
We have canceled our winter fruit sale (due to cold weather crop damage) and will focus on selling flowers starting around the first week in March with delivery on Mothers day May 9.  The boys will earn about $3.25 per flower flat or basket sold. Thus to pay for summer camp each boy will need to sell 70 flats.
 
Many of the boys need to advance in rank in order to earn their pipe stone.  I would suggest that the boys have earned the rank prior to summer camp (to reduce the stress during camp).  Here is the list of boys that need to advance in rank:

Robert Brenot - Star
Liam McCullough - First Class
Alex Bowman - Second Class
Austin Shearer - Second Class
Jimmy Davis - Second Class
 
Remember that there are new rank requirements starting in 2010.
