Once practices for the season begin there are
only a few short weeks until the first games. So...
Start Running...NOW!!!
If you are really out of shape start with a short run and gradully
add more distance to it. PUSH YOURSELF!!
You should shoot for a timed mile of at least under 9 minutes if not faster!!
OTHER THINGS TO WORK ON
straight aways and sprinting the curves and visa versa

Do some 40yd sprints on a Football Field

Work on Footwork: Grapevine, butt kicks, high knees etc.

Footwork with your stick: Lay your stick on the ground, Jump over it
side to side (R-L) w/both feet and with one foot at a time.
Turn and repeat the same front to back.
