Beth Holyoke is mixed media artist living in Yellow Springs. She enjoyed creating the painting/collage for the train station. The work celebrates and portrays an outsider artist, Mr. Imagination who made his art with bottle caps and other found pieces.
Clay and handmade paper are two mediums that she enjoys most . Most recently she created a piece of public art in the form of a handmade tiled bench for the local library steps. She has also produced a film interviewing artists in her community, Yellow Springs, Ohio. She has been a community arts activist for many years and has worked on community wide art events including parades, tile projects, and children’s arts festivals.
