"THE ART IN ME"

Art was always an integral part of Mary Peirano's classroom. For thirty years, Mary taught primary students. She loved giving her children lots of opportunities to be artistic by always having an art area set up in her classroom.

Mary's husband's coaching career consisted of many moves. Mary got used to living in different places. After becoming a widow, she continues the tradition by making her home in Springfield, Ohio while maintaining a little artist's studio/cottage in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

It is there, amidst trees, flowers and chirping birds that Mary goes to paint her watercolors.

Mary studied watercolor painting with Sue Brezine and had participated in workshops with nationally recognized artists: Donna Vogelheim, Homer Hacker, Marilyn Derwinkus and others. mary also belongs to the Fairborn Art Association and Western Ohio Watercolor Society.

Mary's mother, 98 year old Marcella Binegar, resides at Friends Care Center. In addition to two sons, Mary has three grandchildren, Trisha, Melissa and Brok. Oh yes, and one little red haired great grandson, Dylan.

Mary is a Local Award Winning Watercolor Artist

and a member of a local art group "MOGWAVES"
