I do commissions of most any subject--people, pets, places or otherwise!   I can use photos, but they must be very clear, and not distorted, as in looking straight down onto your dog's face, making the face huge, and his back-end tiny.   (unless you want an abstract portrait!)  More than one picture isn't always necessary, but usually very helpful.   I can take emailed photos, if they are clear and have a pleasing arrangement.   Lighting is very important!!

After a short discussion of what is expected, I will need 1/3 down to begin.   When the piece is finished I will email it to you for previewing, and the remaining price is due at this time, ONLY if you are happy!   I can frame, or you can go to your  local frame shop.    Once the full price is paid, it will be promptly shipped.  I can accept PayPal, money orders or personal checks.   (checks will need to clear before shipping a painting).  

Starting point for cost is around $2 per square inch.   Depending on complexity, it can vary.   For example...

11x14 painting with average detail  $308.

16x20 painting with average detail  $640.

If a pencil sketch is what you'd like, no problem!    These are prices at $1 per square inch

11x14 sketch of single subject = $154.    Additional subjects please add 25%.  

Prices depend on the actual work involved, and anything that requires a rush (not always possible) will run a bit higher.
