WISDOM OF LIFE
The years of life have made him wise,
He's listened to truth, heard the lies,
Learned to love, suffered loss,
Knows the pain memories cost.
From lowest lows, retained his highs.
Life's trials toughen the soul of a man,
Touch his dreams both small and grand,
Able to sort the good from the bad,
To meet each new day and be glad,
And capable of making the right stand.
