16x20 Oil  (with facial detail)

This work was inspired by a festival in Malaga, Spain.

The dancers were dancing in the street to celebrate the Virgin of Victory to flamenco music with guitars.
Flowers were given to the statue of the Mother of Jesus,  a gift to the city of Malaga

by King Alfonzo and Queen Isabela in the 15th C.

The people would shout

"¡Viva, La Virgen de La Victoria!  Viva !"
