Social Events are an important component in introducing young adults to their peer community.

Like the other Deanery Two Events, there are "Big" events designed to draw 50 or more people

along with "small" events planned for 15 people at most.

Some of the traditions being established in the Deanery are:

 

February: Mardi Gras Dance, St. Joseph's Mountain View

October: Halloween Mass and Party, St. Joseph's Mountain View

December: Christmas Party, Stanford and St. Thomas Aquinas, Palo Alto

 

During the summer, Stanford's young adult community sponsors its "Summer of Fun" http://www.summeroffun.org, a series of small events spread throughout the summer like hikes, visits to Bay Area tourist attractions or trips to the Napa Valley
