DREAMER & Cheeks is a company borne of passionate love.

A love for dogs and a passion for what can help them find and maintain optimum health and happiness throughout life.

For years I have been involved in private rescue and nursed animals back to health, calmed the aggressive and found loving homes to the best of my ability. I have researched, read, learned & consulted in natural holistic care for dogs and cats and I have become the phone resource for other 'animal people'. Through all this and more I have handled a multitude of situations with all kinds of dogs and their families. Even some of my own dogs are special needs animals.

 

DREAMER & Cheeks was inspired by my love for, and the needs of, my own dogs for whom two of which the company is named. Dreamer was a Newfoundlander Cross and Cheeks a special needs dwarfed Labrador x Husky. After my own experiences with dogs of all sorts I was determined to further my knowledge into natural dog care. This led me, over more than a dozen years, to weed through vast amounts of information and learn not only what our dogs truly need for a healthy, happy life, but also far more about the current state of the commercial industry than I ever thought I would- and the picture is not pretty. The myths, the bold faced lies- it is all enough to befuddle, frustrate and even anger some. Imagine the deception and exploitation being perpetrated by some of the biggest producers of today's most consumed commercial pet foods, even brands your vet sells!
...but, I do not want us to be consumed with the negative, let us look towards a positive future.

 

My vision for DREAMER & Cheeks is to help bring information and products that honestly have your dog's health and wellness at heart and their most important needs considered.

What is important to D&C is the same thing that's important to you, your Best Friend's Quality of Life. The quality of life experienced by every single dog we have the absolute pleasure of coming into contact with. By quality of life I mean not only a nutritional quality, but a holistic quality, addressing your dog's psychological & spiritual as well as physical wellness needs. A well stimulated, happy spirited dog who is also being well fed and excercised is a truly healthy animal.
