Aquascutum had two main recruitment issues they needed to solve. Firstly, they occasionally required assistance with head office vacancies and were looking to find a less expensive alternative to traditional agencies. They'd previously trialled an online recruitment service, but found it produced a large volume of CVs, many unsuitable or irrelevant. | - EWR advertised for a number of head office vacancies across all the major UK job boards and several specialist retail and IT job boards.
- In depth screening was carried out to produce a small but well qualified shortlist for each position.
- When advertising for additional vacancies for store staff EWR implemented an online self assessment form to enhance our manual screening process and quickly produce a relevant pool of candidates for each vacancy.
| - Hires were made for head office positions, a process made easier thanks to the smaller number of CVs forwarded.
- Multiple hires were made for Sales Assistants in Birmingham and Manchester.
- Overall recruitment spend was reduced, but the most significant saving was in the time taken to make these hires, establishing EWR as Aquascutum's preferred internet recruitment solution.
