As a fast expanding retail company opening new stores every month, Brighthouse needed to develop an Internet recruitment strategy from scratch. Their existing recruitment model relied heavily upon the local press and staff referrals and had problems producing a consistently high level of relevant candidates for their roles. They also had problems managing respondents when they were met with a large, unfiltered response to some campaigns. | THE SOLUTION:

| - As this was their first Internet recruitment venture, EWR assigned two key members of staff to help mentor Brighthouse throughout their campaign.
- After the initial week of advertising produced an irrelevant response, we modified the adverts wording and structure to better target the relevant profiles.
- Database searches were used to target candidates from the retail betting industry who might not have considered themselves relevant to the role. This approach proved very successful and helped Brighthouse to recruit for some locations that had previously been causing them severe difficulties.
