The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries is dedicated to the service of all who are called to serve the Young Church so that young people may grow as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ in fulfillment of the Church's Mission to spread this Good News.
Catholic Ministry to people in their late teens, 20's and 30's is defined by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops as those who are 18 through 39. The document from the USCCB about ministry to Young Adults can be found in Son and Daughters of the Light. Again this age group is vast and the life experience of these young people is diverse and overlaps the age division. People gravitate toward others with similar life situations and this is true of young adults. With this in mind these young people might be divided into the following groups:
18-25 Single and in college
18-25 Single-working
25-39 Single professional
25-39 young married-no children
25-39 young married-with children
