Other cool sites! Fractal Universe -- In my artists statement, I wrote a line saying "The universe is a fractal." I meant that in a fanciful, metaphorical sense, but I later found out that there is apparently a scientific theory to this effect.
NOVA: The Elegant Universe -- Watch the entire 3 hour program online! Explains the nuts and bolts of our universe from the smallest to the largest scales. Its well worth the 3 hours, but uts broken up into episodes, so you dont have to watch it all at once. www.pandora.com - Amazing free streaming music site! Choose your favorite bands or songs, and Pandora will stream them to you, along with recommendations on similar music. Good sound quality.
Archive.org -- Huge database of live concert recordings, old film clips, texts, and archived web pages. I especially love the downloadable recordings of old Grateful Dead concerts. There are some very memorable shows in there. You can spend hours digging around on this site and not realize it.
g2p.org -- Find free mp3's, software, and e-books from all over the interwebs using a special Google search page.
