installation interior.
In my artistic work I create room-size installations and their photographic reproductions. I consider possibilities for staging new spaces over time. Here I use everyday materials such as tarps, styrofoam, soap or furniture. In my latest work I also employed acoustic recordings.
After creating the space, I focus on the relationship of the three dimensionality to the second
dimension, namely photography. If the two-dimensional image reproduces an accurate image
of part of reality, the 3D object in its totality is hardly caught, but only experienced. This dialectic
between experience and depiction highly interests me.
