Academic Screening

All incoming students will be given an academic screening in order to help us understand their current skill level.

Kindergarten Admissions:  To enter kindergarten, Trinity strongly encourages children to be five years of age on or before September 1^st to be eligible for admittance in September of that year. All students entering kindergarten will be screened by a Trinity faculty member to ascertain their readiness for the kindergarten program. 

First through Tenth Grade Admissions: All students entering the first grade must be six years of age on or before September 1^st or have successfully completed a year of kindergarten.  Students entering succeeding grades must have completed the preceding grades.  Students applying to first through tenth grade must complete an academic screening administered by a Trinity faculty member.  First through fifth grades will be administered the Woodcock-Johnson Assessment, and sixth through tenth graders will take math placement and essay tests.
