Trinity Boys 2007-08 Elementary Basketball Round Up
| Trinity Classical Academy had their first Junior High School Basketball Team in 2008. The team had a record of 6 wins and 3 losses. They were undefeated in league play and won TCA's first team Championship on March 6, 2008. They won the VCAL Jr. High East Division II Championship when they beat Summit View 42-33 in the championship game.
The Boys Varsity Elementary Basketball Team (5th-6th graders), ended the 2007-08 season on a high note. They beat Santa Clarita Christian 44-32 and Grace Community 35-23 to capture our first Valley Christian Elementary Athletic League (VCEAL) team championship. The boys rebounded from tough losses the previous week in the Santa Clarita Valley Private School League (SCVPSL). In the Junior Varsity and Varsity SCVPSL championship games both teams lost hard fought games to Legacy Christian Academy. |

Fernando valleys. Two years ago the elementary team lost in the first round of the playoffs. Last year the team got to the championship game, but lost. This year we went undefeated during the regular season in the VCEAL and continued on to win the championship game, finishing a perfect 10-0 campaign. The boys all worked hard and succeeded in developing poise and team work as individuals and as two strong teams.
The Junior Varsity Elementary Basketball Team beat each team in the league at least once during the regular season, but came up short against an improved Legacy team in the championship. They ended the season 5-3 and all of the boys gained a great deal of experience which could not have happened in previous seasons when we only had a varsity team for the elementary boys. |
