Christian Education

A godless education, is a lifeless education.

Education by its very nature, must address the great questions of life.  Who am I?  Why am I here?  How must I live?

Every school, be it a government school or a religious school, must teach on the foundation of some kind of worldview. That worldview may be boldly stated, or it may be implicit, but it is always present. Neutrality in education is a myth.

At Trinity Classical Academy, our foundational worldview is the unchangeable Work of God – the Bible.  Because God has revealed Himself in His creation, in the Bible, and in His Son Jesus Christ, we confidently teach all subjects in the light of His Lordship.  This, in turn, affects more than mere academics.  We strive to practice Biblical living and teaching everywhere, not only in the curriculum, but also in the administration and staff.

Trinity Classical Academy is absolutely committed to the central principles of the Christian faith.  The staff and student body represents many different evangelical churches. We seek to build Christian unity between the families of our school, and pray that we never drift from stressing the importance of a consistent and personal adherence to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Public Education in Our Community

The pages in this section of our site attempt to make a compelling case for Christian education for all professing believers. In doing so, we will definitely enter into a conversation about government schools.

At Trinity we acknowledge that there are fantastic educators and personnel that populate our local schools, many of them dedicated Christians. They work diligently within the parameters of the government school system to bring hope and light to system that has rejected God from its foundational days.

It is certainly not the rank and file people in government education who make it an untenable proposition for Christians, it is the system of government education that presents the gravest concern for Christian parents. The entrenched, God-less, government-run, compulsory, monopoly in education is at the heart of this discussion.

There is a movement that is taking hold across our great nation. More and more families are saying no to public education, where God is not honored, or simply not even mentioned. A clarion call going out around our country for the evangelical church to commit to Christian education as part of their walk of faith and obedience.

We know just by virtue of you exploring Trinity and reading this page, you are invested in seeking out the possible education for your children. Whether Trinity is a fit for you or not, we hope that the information presented here will help you make a reasoned and prayerful decision.

What’s Taught in Public Schools

Is the Bible true?

My science, health, and literature teachers said no.

Is God providential in the affairs of men and nations?
My history, social studies, and economics teachers said no.

Are design and purpose evident in creation?
My biology, chemistry, and math teachers said no.

Are there absolutes?
My sex-education teacher said no, and my friends said, “cool.”

There is no greater failing among Christians than our lack of obedience in the education of our children. We must stop offering our children up as living sacrifices to the Moloch of government schools. Whether we make the necessary sacrifices to provide our children with a Christian education will determine whether future generations bless us for bringing about a spiritual renewal or curse us for allowing a once great Christian nation to slide into darkness.
