Volleyball

This year we are excited as we see many new developments at Trinity. One of those great opportunities is the first high school volleyball team. We have the opportunity to build upon the volleyball experience that we all gained from participation as Junior High players last year. As we work to get into CIF, the games that we will be playing will be against schools in the area who are looking to add a few games to their schedule. The great thing about this season will be our ability to build and grow as a team and a program. We will be practicing twice a week in September, and add our games in October.

Not only will the girls be spending the season training and growing as athletes, they will also be pushed and developed as young Christian ladies. The Lord promises to bless those who work hard and seek Him, and that is what we will be doing throughout the season.  The ladies will learn the importance of hard work and faithful team work. They will grow as a team of players and as a team of friends.

As I join the team here at Trinity, I am very excited to be on the ground level with this program. I have had many experiences with volleyball, and this one thrills me the most as I look at the school’s philosophy and focus. I was blessed to play in the valley at The Master’s College, and I have taken my experiences there to coach at the varsity level at Saugus High School, and most recently at Ontario Christian High School. Fundamentals are most important to me as a coach, and as we practice those each day, the girls will come to know the game and love it as well.
