So it has been a long while since last we have updated this area.  So here is everything that has gone on in the last summer and spring:
We played a lot more shows here in Austin, then decided it was time to take a quick rest and re-gather ourselves for the future.  In late spring we began pre-production on our second record which is still to be titled and began recording mid-summer.  As far as the record is concerned we are half way through the mixing process, and about to start shipping it out in the hopes of finding some lovely people to  help us with getting out to you the beautiful masses.  We also spent some well need time away from the city and drove up to middle of nowhere Oklahoma to Lake Eufaula and spent 4 days on the water remembering what it is like to relax and not be crowded by society and the qualms of trying to be cooler than cool.  When we got back we were well rested, a little red, and looking forward to ripping the face off a town who loves to wear masks.  We also spent some time re-working the live show experience to make it more of the experience and future shows are going to benefitting heavily from these discussions.  We also dabbled with the idea for a while of having Max Dropout manager our band a lead on a path he saw fit.  Shortly after we decided that might not be what we wanted and continued to do things our own way, then as of recently decided that maybe he was right and have once again asked for his help in the stage of game, and we shall see what happens.  Letting go of all control is hard but it's also something we are learning you have to do in order to acheive goals you need help with.  Asking for help is hard, but worth it.  We have a tour coming in Nov., nothing to extreme but enought o get us around the area and meet up with old friends that we havent gotten to see in a long time.  The road is a magical place and we need to have more time there.  We are going to have more time there.  Until next time, hope to see you soon, better off tomorrow, when we meet again, on further notice, keep in touch.

We just had our latest meeting with the guys over at Thrity Ghosts Records, and it looks like we are nearing the end of a very long engagement with the creation of our debut record "SQUALOR" .  If we can punch through getting the artwork taken care of the disc should be out in no time.  be brave. be tired of nothing.  do everything

Hey hey hey, so if you didnt see on the front page we have 2 amazing SXSW Day Parties that all you crazies should find the time to hit.  First we are at The Whiskey Bar to open up the afternoon for Australian Cattle God Records Showcase, who is home to some of the finest artists in town, then shortly there after we will be hittin S. Congress at Trophys for our 2nd showcase with Thirty Ghosts Records.  In case you havent been informed our debut CD "SQUALOR"  is in the very tedious process of being released by Thirty Ghosts, so come out to that one to check out all our label mates.

Hey Gang, we are gearing up for our tour that's going to start in mid Nov. so be looking for us around your area.  Friendly faces at show make for big grins on music-ians.  In other news, SQUALOR our debut c.d. is in the process of being re-worked, as far as artwork, and is going to be out by the beginning of the tour under Thirty Ghosts Records.   When we return we hope t have a release party for it which will be exciting because we never got to have one with the initial release.  Also, we are in the middle of a press campaign so if you know of any online zines or mags, or standard print mags and what not that we should check out let us know.  I think that is going to wrap it all up so, eyes in the sky cause we are coming to town, just like Santa.  Toodles

So a lot has happened to keep us busy and off the net in the last month or so.  Trey and Chris have moved, but just houses, Aaron has broken his foot, but it got better, and we got mother f'in signed.  We just started working with Thirty Ghost Records based out of Austin, Tx.  It is going to be super sweet doin' our thing with them, cause they love to tango.  As of right now we are scheduled to re-release our record "SQUALOR" with them come some time in Nov.  Nothing has been put into stone as far as release date, but believe me it will be out and nation wide.  Also, if you already have a copy, the re=release will have added bonus material that we were never able to get to when releasing it ourselves.  Also, check the show page, we have a few things coming up in Austin over the next few months and then off on the road in Nov. to all you beautiful people who aren't in the Austin area.  Its should be tons of fun and we will get to reconnect with all our friends we made along the way last time.  This means Burgers and Co.  Numerators ROCK!!!   And with tours come the very funnest things in the whole world.... The efalants are coming.... Run for the Hills!!!  So we got a show coming up check the shows page for more info.  Plus the DVD is officially ready.  We already pre-sold all 10 copies that we made!!! How amazing... actually we are just giving them away to our dearest of friends, so if you want a copy too, then give us a scream and haller yall.  we are so excited, we are about to make plans for our next venture into the great wide open, which will be taking place in Nov.  so if you want us to come to your town give us good info on where to play or throw a party and we will be there.  Looking forward.

Holy Quacamole, it looks as though we are going to get to have a van soon!  Hooray!  Well not us exactly, but a buddy of ours Jared Canada (The Dailys) is looking at buying this super sweet van from Pete over at the poor posture camp, and said that we could use it for our tour runs if we just helped pay for the Insurance.  Uhhh, OKAY!  So we are all super excited, and hopefully everything goes through correctly and we get to ride in the sweet sweet smell of not having to rent a trailer and use Treys car anymore.  It should be great, except for that damn gas problem, I dont think it's deisel so it looks like we are still gonna have to get stuck by the man.  Stupid man.  If the deisel is rockin though we are gonna follow suit of The Constants and get that baby runnin on Vegi, because it just makes more sense in this the enviro-friendly world that we try to build around us.  All right all good.  So , looook out west coast F.v.E is comin in Nov. to take you down.  Keep in touch, and really, pretty soon we are going to put those videos up, I swear.

Hey all you crack-a-lacka's out there.  So, it's taking forever to to put those last 2 videos up here.  Jeez, slackers we are.  Anywho, they will be posted soon, and you can also see all the footage with special background music on our new DVD.  It's got some really cool cuts from us at Beerland here in Austin and Larimer Lounge in Denver.  We arent going to do a huge run of them at first so if you want one, hit us up and make sure you are first in line.  Cause it's gonna be hot, baby!  Also, looks like we might be back in the studio in the end of Aug.  Hopefully a record will be out shortly after that as well. I dont really know what all we are looking to do when we get in there, but we have some material already worked up that I think we are going to try and transpose into recorded audio data and not just live audio data.  To cheers for recording!  ANyway, keep in touch and grab one of those DVDs.

We are gonna have a short film, roughly 20min., coming out pretty soon.  We have to go in and put some finishing touches up on it, but it will basically chronicle the tour with some extra footage from shows, with one of our last shows at Beerland being the backing music track.  It looks really cool, it just needs some final tweakage, and the soundtrack is super awesome.  If anyone was at the show at Beerland where we switched instruments and made some noise for about 30 mins. then you know what show we are talking about.  IT was awesome!!!  So keep in touch and grab one of them babies cause we are only going to be able to make a few at first, but they are sooooo cool.  I for one am really excited about it.

Wow, been a bit since this page has seen daylight.  So we are talking about getting back in the studio and rippen out some more material for yet another record.  The tour has drained us so we might be on borrowed time for the first part, but very soon my darlings more F.v.E prapoogandi will be filling some streets and a few air waves hahahahaha.  Look out Austin, we are in the works of getting our music video for Kind Red Sea up on ME15.  Yeah, we miss AMN too, but still they do good things..... after midnight, which is when we will be hitting the rotation, so go and call in and request that shit, but not yet, we still have to get it to them.  Plus we are about to do a full front attack on the college radio scene, so if you are form any town with college radio let us know and we will send them a cd of our latest material, plus some stickers and maybe some old material for bandages and such.  All right, keep your browsers locked in cause we 'bout to go crazy up in hair.

Hey Everybody, we are on the final turn of the "SQUALOR" production line so get ready to get your hands on some awesome rock action.  ALso, it looks like we will be doing a little stint through the American Swamplands at the end of June through the beginning of July.  So far we have all our Tx dates confirmed, and will be going all the way to Florida and then back again.  So watch out!  Other than that everything is else is pretty normal.  We ahd an awesome time playing our last show at Beerland with an amazing line-up that we got to kick off.  Gorch Fock, Cue, and Horse Plus Donkey all ruled as expected and we are very thankful for getting to play that Benefit for Senior Brian Steers.  He is an amazing drummer and we all can't wait to see him back on the throne.  Rock on everybody, and keep the love alive.  YEEHAA!

Welcome to the new in-between homes home of F.v.E.  Our tenantcy here should be pretty short but we will keep you informed on our move when it happens.  So far, there is not much report... Sorry for the long wait in between updates.  We have a show at Beerland in 2 days and it should be really fun.  Aaron is going to put on some really awesome garb so check it out.  Also, for those of you who dont know he broke his ankle about 2 weeks ago, so no running around for him, but Trey will have double the energy for him.  Chris just got back from New York and made us a new fan up in the Big Apple.  Also, look for us on the road soon, I think Nov. and then again in Jan.  Everything is going well for us, we have been writing new material, and we are going to be doinf some recording here in the near future so be on the ready.  Thats all for now, updates will be more frequent so check back often.  Hoping to put some new songs on here in the very near future so check for those, and maybe even a couple of pics.
