Global Leadership participates in the conferences, projects, and workshops listed below to share lessons learned through citizen awarness and leadership.

 H.P.U Global Citizen Symposium
Annual Event

For the past four semesters Global Leadership has been involved with planning and participating in HPU's Global Citizenship Symposium. Currently, the Symposium is in its planning stages for 2006.
Traditionally, we welcome a keynote speaker who can share his/her own story of how he/she began to develop a sense of responsibility outside of his/her own family, community, or nationality; who can address the experience of traveling abroad or living in another culture and has learned to see their own culture and values from another culture's perspective. We look to our speaker to inspire us and comment on the skills that are important in helping us develop a sense of connectedness with those who may be different from us. We heed our own call to action through the speaker's PASSION and COMMITMENT, which in turn urges us to develop our individual roles within the interconnectedness of the world.
Student group discussions in the past have been lead by:  SIFE (Students for Free Enterprise); the Model UN Club and Amnesty International Clubs, and HPU MCP (Military Campus Program) students who
share our passion.

Recycling Initiative
Work in Progress!

Global Leadership and Organizational Change is in the process of teaming up with PRSSA to bring a recycling initiative to Fort Street Mall. Together we will bring awarness to the importance of recycling and help the Fort Street Mall Recyling Program gain momentum.
