Master of Arts in Global Leadership
HawaiĄ Pacific University's Master of Arts in Global Leadership(MA/GL) program is designed for the exceptional student whose background, education, and worldview have inspired an interest in assuming leadership positions in the global community. The curriculum centers on instilling a holistic and historic understanding of the larger political, social, cultural, economic, and technological forces at work in the evolution of human societies now and in the future. Using an interdisciplinary design, students become more self-reflexive of their role as prospective international leaders while enhancing their understanding of global problems and potential solutions. The desired outcome for graduates is to know how to lead and respond effectively to issues of democracy, justice, peace, human rights, sustainable development, and the wise use of power in organizational settings worldwide.
