What's A GLOC?
Global Leadership and Organizational Change is a multi-disciplinary organization that creates opportunities for its student members to experience conscious leadership and service learning by engaging in community development activities. We focus our leadership and change skills on ways to bring about positive futures for communities, organizations and individuals. GLOC members participate, organize, and volunteer for events with various nonprofits, businesses and organizations throughout the Honolulu area. We believe that our active participation and change initiatives enhance our understanding and competence as global leaders and global citizens. Our vision is to make a positive and lasting contribution to all that we do.

GLOC Mission
To Inspire - GLOC works together as an organization to help one another with future goals and achievements
To Inform - We share knowledge to stay abreast of global issues that affect the world in which we are a part
To Equip - By assisting one another, members of GLOC develop personal goals and strive for excellence as future leaders
To Connect - GLOC cross-pollinates ideas and resources with other organizations to broaden our actions
To Practice and Serve - GLOC puts club members' collective skills into action in ways to benefit the larger, global community through volunteer projects, initiatives, and individual global awareness

About Our School
Hawaii Pacific University is a private learning institution nestled in the downtown area of Honolulu's business district. HPU is also considered one of the most internationally diverse colleges in the nation, bringing together students and faculty from over 120 countries world wide. At HPU you will find classes chatting about world issues, students conversing in diverse languages, and a very cultural selection of dinning options.
As members of this university we enjoy the opportunity to learn each other's story and cultural history. We feel it is important to make friends, and to make a difference.
