The West Linn Historic Grindstones Public Art Steering Committee members will select an artist/artist team  based solely on contents of response to this Request for Qualifications Call and a personal interview.  Qualifications will be reviewed with the following criteria:

  • Artistic & technical quality of past public art work    
  • Preliminary concept as described in letter of interest    
  • Appropriateness of scale, material and style of past work to this project   
  • Professional experience and ability to perform, as demonstrated by resumé  


Based on Qualifications review, no less than three semi-finalists will be selected to develop proposals, and present their proposals to the Committee.  Each semi-finalist will be paid a $750 honorarium upon completion of presentation  (Committee reserves the right not to select any submitting artist.)
