I live in South Minneapolis with my husband, James, and various foster dogs that pass through our home. I grew up in Idaho, Utah and Iowa, then landed in Minnesota 13 years ago. I recently left the nonproifit sector where I worked for seven years as a policy wonkette to strike out on my own. I do Pure Romance parties, which are really too much fun to be considered honest work, and consult on random projects.

*Someone* told me that no one wants to read about what I cooked for supper, or where I rode my bike today (that person is probably right, and that is fine).  My husband, on the other hand, said he is very interested in reading everything I have to share, because he finds me fascinating!

As the title suggests, I am easily amused (a gift from my mother) and enjoy life's simple pleasures. I am often taking on new "projects" (this is the latest) or marvelling over random & usually short-lived obsessions.
