WHAT'S NEW?
* See photos from Jeff and Maya's first trip to Natural Falls State Park in eastern Oklahoma on May 31, 2009, on the Travel Photos pages. Awesome waterfalls and trails through the wooded, rolling edge of the Ozarks. The falls and this awesome natural area served as the site of the filming of the original 1970s movie for the classic book "Where the Red Fern Grows" by Wilson Rawls. That book was a favorite of Jeff's growing up, so it was a thrill to explore the area that served as its setting.

* Check out photos from Jeff's first hike in scenic Sedona, Arizona and his return trip to the Ford Canyon Trail at White Tank Mountain Regional Park near Surprize, Arizona. He hiked both trails in April with his best friend Doug. Photos are at the end of the Travel Photos pages.
* Check out photos from Jeff's first two hikes on the Goat Trail to Big Bluff, which provides one of the most spectacular views above the Buffalo National River Wilderness Area in northern Arkansas. Photos from his January hike with friend Dave Perozek and his March hike with his dad and brother Brian are posted at the end of the
Travel Photos pages.

* Click on the 42 Days tab to view Jeff's most recent writing. It's a journal of reflection and poetry kept over a period of 42 consecutive days. The words find themselves rooted in the moment and breathing the tiny details of life and nature.
